With our beautiful white sand beaches, our amazing rolling countryside, the majestic Haleakala Mountain, it’s hard not to fall in love with this island. That’s probably why Maui has been voted once again one of the best islands in America.
According to a recent article by cnn.com, Maui is among the top 12 best islands in our country. The recent review put Maui among the top five of the best islands in America, stating that it’s our incredible surf, stunning waterfalls, historic sites and mountain ranges that make this island one of the best out there. The article took note of the beautiful Kaanapali Beach, amazing Haleakala National Park, our incredible Molokini Crater, the one-of-a-kind Road to Hana and our Halloween party on Front Street. All of these reasons and more make our small Hawaii Island one to write home about. In our opinion, there’s so much more that makes Maui one of the best of the best. It’s the friendly aloha spirit, the beauty from end to end, the excitement of Front Street and Paia and the plentiful places to eat, explore, shop and swim.
The following are the other islands that were listed: Amelia Island, Catalina Island, Fire Island, Kodiak Island, Mackinac Island, Martha’s Vineyard, Mount Desert Island, Ocracoke Island, Orcas Island, the San Juans, Sanibel Island, and St. John.
