Napili is a small unincorporated community with beachfront homes, resorts, vacation rentals, dining, shopping, and a beautiful quiet beach. It’s just outside of the busy tourist resorts and located north of Lahaina between Kaanapali and Kapalua.
If you’re looking for a place to say, Napili has great places to choose from including Napili Point, Napili Kai Beach Resort, Napili Sunset Beachfront Resort and Napili Village. All of these are located just steps from Napili Bay and have stunning sunset and ocean views. Napili Bay offers beautiful coral reefs filled with tropical fish, sea turtles and a variety of marine life. It’s a great place to dip in the water, snorkel around the reefs or just lay out in the sun.
Dining options around Napili are more local and less mainstream. The Sea House Restaurant sits directly on Napili Bay and offers open air seating with award winning cuisine and captivating panoramic views. They serve breakfast, lunch, dinner and have an excellent happy hour. The Iron Imu BBQ is also a local favorite. You wouldn’t think to find Southern-style BBQ on Maui but they have raving reviews and it’s the place to go if you’re looking for some BBQ. The Gazebo is known for its oversized delicious breakfast and banana macadamia nut pancakes with coconut syrup. Located right on Napili bay, enjoy this popular spot for breakfast and lunch, be sure to get there early or prepare to wait to be seated.
There are two great farmers markets to check out while in Napili. The Napili Farmers Market is open every Wednesday and Saturday and offers fresh local fruit, vegetables, baked goods and more. The Farmers Market Maui is open every Wednesday and Friday. They also have a deli and grocery store that is open every day from 7:00am to 7:00pm. Come early and shop local.
