Back in March of this year, we talked about Troon’s purchase of the Pineapple Grill Restaurant at The Bay Course Clubhouse at the Kapalua Resort. This popular Kapalua Restaurant has finally reopened for business as of June 3rd under its new management, with some substantial upgrades. Those of you in the market for a Kapalua home can add this to the laundry list of great features you can enjoy in this remarkable part of West Maui.
New menus were among the changes at Pineapple Grill, so if you’ve been here before, expect to find some fresh options. Changes also include upgraded kitchen equipment and new service standards, among other enhancements. Chef Robert Barrera collaborated with the Troon food and beverage team to enhance the most popular menu items, so you can expect to taste some of those old favorites again. That’ll be a relief to the countless pineapple upside down cake enthusiasts among the restaurant’s returning patrons. Maui’s Best Baked Mac and Cheese also remains on the menu because of its popularity, and now you can order it with a kalua pork add on.
The restaurant will also be open for breakfast, catering to the needs of visitors, residents, and the early bird golfers out on the greens in the mornings. They’ve got some exciting new breakfast menu options, too, like the Jumbo Egg Sandwich, Huevos Rancheros and the Maui Cattle Company Half Pound Loco.
A new Pineapple Grill Happy Hour has been added as well, from 2:30pm to 5:30pm daily, with an affordable array of drinks and pupu. For example, cocktail specials and draft beer selections will be priced at just $6. There will be ten pupu options under $10, which is a great deal for anyone looking for a late afternoon drink and snack in a charming restaurant with lovely views.
If you feel like swinging by to check out the new version of the Pineapple Grill during the summer, the restaurant is open for breakfast from 6:30am to 11am on weekdays and to noon on weekends. The all-day menu will be available from 11am to 8pm on weekdays, and will start at noon on weekends.
