Have you ever wondered what the landscape is like just beneath the surface of the large swath of ocean which makes your luxury Maui beachfront estate so spectacular? While the best way to experience our fantastic island waters is to dive in and explore them firsthand, for those times that you are away from your luxury home on Maui, or are simply unable to get your feet wet, yet wish to do a bit of in ocean exploration, Google had you covered!
A new Google project, appropriately titled “Oceans,” aims to allow anyone with an internet connection the opportunity to take a deep sea dive, albeit virtually, and explore the depths of our oceans utilizing the same Street View technology which has become such an integral part of our lives. Currently, Google’s Oceans let’s you take to Hawaii’s waters in two popular locations: Haunama Bay on Oahu, and Maui’s famous Molokini Crater, seen here:
Surely this is just a small taste of what’s to come from the Oceans project in Hawaii’s abundant waters. We can’t wait to see what’s next!
