Depending on where you are upon entering, you can choose to start the hike at the Kapalua Bay Villas, Oneloa Bay, the Ritz-Carlton, and/or D. T. Fleming Beach Park. Mahana Trail
Also easily accessed by those who buy Kapalua homes and condos for sale, The Mahana Ridge Trail is the longest trail within the Kapalua resort and is great for the more experienced hiker. You can access the trail from D.T. Fleming Beach Park and climb about six miles, all the way to the Maunalei Arboretum. The trail might be a little hard to find so keep your eyes peeled!

Dragon’s Teeth
See one of the island’s last lava flows during a hike towards Dragon’s Teeth. You’ll fall in love with the unique rock formations and get to see such a different part of Maui. Simply take Lower Honoapiilani Road and head to the corner parking lot of Office Road and start walking.

Nakalele Blowhole & Sweetheart Rock
If you’ve ever researched hikes on Maui, then you have certainly come across the famous Nakalele Blowhole. Situated at the northern part of West Maui, it is visited by travelers and hikers all over, and you can really get in touch with mother nature with this moderate hike along the Pacific Ocean.

Launiupoko
Located in Launiupoko Valley, you can access this mountain trail off Highway 30, east of Lahaina. Head uphill from Kai Hele Ku street towards Wailau Street. Park, and enter the trail where you can enjoy a bird’s like view of the island.
