The Median Days on Market to sell a home was 74 days (up from December’s 56 DOM).
January’s Condominium sales in West Maui:
Condominium sales increased to 28 units sold (19 units sold in December). Higher interest rates have decreased sales numbers in recent months. The Two-year monthly average is 64 sales.
The Condominium median price dropped to $605,000 (December was $1,150,000).
Median Days on Market for a condo to sell was 57 days (down from December’s 60 DOM).
West Maui Total (702) sales for immediate past 12 months:
Residential = 134 (with 3.7% being foreclosure-REO or Short Sale), Condo = 568 (0.14% REO or SS).
In the last 12 months, on Maui’s West Side:
- 33.6% of Residential Sales were cash,
- 44.4% of Condo Sales were cash.
